In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $10.95 retail price on front flap. Small closed tear repair to front panel, with light foxing to verso of rear panel. A near fine example.

This is the third state as listed in Hammond and Anderson, with a small loss of text on Page 229 along the right edge, and the binding stamped in gilt and silver. Although this is listed as one of five possible states, there is no priority between formats. (A15c)
