The Sinews of Peace is the first of Churchill’s five postwar speech volumes, collecting twenty-nine speeches delivered from October 1945 through the end of 1946. This volume includes Churchill’s March 5, 1946 address at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, commonly known as the “Iron Curtain” speech.
