Large octavo, xix, [3], 579pp. Gray patterned boards with black cloth spine, title in gilt over green on spine. In publisher’s original pale green dust jacket with toning to spine, small crease to bottom edge of spine. Housed in publisher’s original pale green cardboard slipcase, title printed in green on spine, splatter of white on spine edge, light shelf wear, bump to top open edge. From a limited edition of 1500 copies, this being number 1265. Signed by the engraver, Tranquillo Marangoni, and the printer, Giovanni Mardersteig, on the limitation page. A nice example.
