Top edge gilt, uncut edges. 32 illustrated plates, 3 Fold-out maps of Yosemite Park, in fine condition. An exceptional copy.
Comments: John Muir was the father of the conservation movement in the early 20th Century, with his work focusing on the California Wilderness and specifically Yosemite National Park. This work by Muir contains early photographs of El Capitan, Mirror Lake, The Three Brothers and Yosemite Falls. (BAL 14767)
