Jon Meacham won the Pulitzer Prize in 2009 for his monumental work on Andrew Jackson titled American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House. Meacham was selected by the Bush Family as the official biographer of President George H.W. Bush, which became Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush (2015). He delivered the eulogy at the funeral of President Bush in 2018.
