Octavo, [4], 359pp, [1]. Green cloth, title in gilt on front cover and spine. Illustrations stamped in black on front cover. The first issue, lacking “the Angel whispered Don’t Go” on page 265. Top edge gilt, solid text block. Lightly bumped lower corner, else fine. Complete with thirty detailed illustrated plates and multiple in-text designs. Housed in a custom cloth chemise, title stamped in gilt on a red morocco label on the spine. Lacking the scarce dust jacket.
