Octavo, xxxvi, 175pp. Blue cloth, title stamped in gilt on spine, gilt with illustration on cover. In publisher’s near fine dust jacket, sunning to spine, otherwise a fine copy. From a limited edition of 500 copies, this being number 109, inscribed to Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona. Inscription reads: “To Barry Goldwater, with highest personal regards, from Eugene E. Wilson. Palm Beach. 14 April 1967.”
Barry Goldwater was a five-term senator from the State of Arizona. He was the Republican nominee for President in 1964. Although he lost to Lyndon Johnson, Goldwater is credited with launching the modern conservative movement.
