Appointment signed by Gov. William McKinley and Ohio Secretary of State, Samuel McIntire Taylor. The document appointed William McComb Jr. as the Notary Public for Allen County, Ohio in 1894, while he was serving as the Mayor of Lima, Ohio. Printed on parchment paper, measures 16″ x 19″. Light toning, three tissue repairs to verso, hinges stable. Seal of the State of Ohio in gold, affixed to lower left corner. Housed in archival rigid plastic protective cover.
