Folio, xii, [13]-544pp. Burgundy cloth, title stamped in gilt, blind stamped cloth patterns. Floral patterned endpapers. Light wear to tips of cloth, binding solid. Dampstain affecting rear board, with cloth beginning to separate, no impact to endpaper or text block. This work is complete with hundreds of woodcut illustrations from Harper’s Weekly, illustrating the progress of the war from 1861-1865.
