Moe Levine (1908-1974) was an American trial attorney, specializing in catastrophic injury and medical malpractice cases. His fellow trial attorney, Rick Friedman-Rubin, said: “A trial lawyer who has not read Moe Levine is like a poet who has not read Shakespeare.” Levine was widely recognized for his ability to secure large settlements and verdicts, often focusing on the human impact of injuries rather than just the financial damages.
The recipient of this copy, Jim Gramenos, was a public defender and Federal Judge. Early in his career, he was assigned to the defense team for serial killer Richard Speck, which resulted in the death penalty for Speck.
