In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $10.00 on front flap, black border on rear panel with a photograph of the author by Arnold Newman. Notable chipping along edges, short closed tears, both hinges folded inward.

A scarce example of the first printing of this groundbreaking book.

The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich was first published by Simon & Schuster in 1960, and it was a commercial success in both the United States and Great Britain. It won the National Book Award for Nonfiction in 1961.
