Octavo, 357pp, [1]. Black cloth, title in silver on spine. Stated “First Edition” on copyright page, with full number line. Housed in the publisher’s slipcase, two scratches on side panel, light shelf wear, bright illustrations and a solid binding.
The limitation page states 500 copies were sold to the public, each numbered and signed by the author. Another “twenty-six copies have been reserved for private distribution, lettered a-z.” This is number 437, signed by William Shatner.
William Shatner began his acting career in 1951 but found international fame with his portrayal of Captain Kirk in 1966. He would reprise the role for three seasons in Star Trek: The Original Series and in seven Star Trek movies from 1979-1994.
