This work by Johannes Buxtorf (1564-1629) was first published in 1613. The second edition was edited by his son and grandson, both professors at Basel University in Switzerland. This work includes an appendix called Bibliothecam Rabbinicam, a rabbinical bibliography based on books in the personal library of Buxtorf the Elder.
