Signed portrait of the first ladies of the United States, from May 11, 1994 at the gala celebrating the National Garden at the United States Botanic Garden.
Framed in dark cherry wood with gold trim, white matte and museum glass. Piece measures 13″ x 16″. This photograph is signed by six first ladies, including Lady Bird Johnson, Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush and Hillary Clinton. The only first lady not in attendance was Jacqueline Kennedy, who passed away the following week. Includes JSA certification, with associated paperwork. A scarce piece signed by six members of first families.
This event took place at the future site of the National Garden, between the United States Capitol and the United States Botanic Garden, where five former first ladies joined President Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton to raise money for the garden.
