Folio, 462pp. Brown pebbled cloth boards, brown leather spine, title stamped in gilt on front cover. Rubbed spine, reinforced hinges. All maps in near fine condition, free of any notable markings or wear. Marbled leaf ends. Maps mostly in color, a few monotone. Previous ownership notation on front free endpaper, dated 1887. (Ristow, American Maps and Mapmakers, p. 438-442) A very good, complete example of this historical atlas.
