Folio, [two volumes], xii, 442pp, [1]; 88pp, [1]. Ivory cloth, title in gilt on spines. Printed on Batchelor’s handmade paper by Bernard H. Newdigate at the Shakespeare Head Press. Solid text blocks, bright cloth, free of soiling or notable wear. Faint toning to front endpaper of Volume II. Held in a custom brown cloth slipcase.
Both volumes numbered 134 of 195 on colophons. Complete with twenty wood engravings: fourteen illustrations in Volume I and six illustrations in Volume II, including headpieces and tailpieces.
