Octavo, 355pp. Publisher’s black cloth, title in black on red paper label affixed to spine and front cover. Stated “Reprinted three times in November, 1929” on copyright page. Slight lean to text block, some transference from dust jacket to endpapers, foxing along edges. In the publisher’s dust jacket, no price listed, shelf wear, rubbing and small chips along edges, some wear and foxing to verso. (Hannemann A8d) A very good example of the scarce Grosset and Dunlap printing, done in association with Charles Scribner’s Sons.
