In publisher’s first state dust jacket, $18.95 retail price on front flap, and no mention of Grisham’s other books on back panel. A few short closed tears to rear panel, reinforced with archival tape along verso. Shelf wear to panels.

The first printing of this debut work by John Grisham was published by Wynwood Press, with subsequent editions printed by Random House. The first printing consisted of 5,000 copies.
Includes a letter of provenance from John’s cousin, Linda Grisham, who sent this copy for his signature to benefit a regional charity auction.
