Comments: This book recounts an early attempt to find a route to India through the Northern polar region. While the voyage was ultimately stopped by summer ice, they reached within 10 degrees of the north pole. The voyage included a young officer named Horatio Nelson, who would go on to become a British War Hero in the Battle of Trafalgar.
