Contains the following first issue points, including a publication date of 1885 on title page, with 1884 on copyright page, “Huck Decided to Leave” on page 9, illustration “Him and another Man” incorrectly listed as page “88” on page 13, misprint “was” for “saw” on page 57, on page 155 the last “5” in page number is missing, the “l” is missing from “Col.” on page 143, no signature “11” on page 161 and page 283 being a cancel. The heliotype slug appears on the Twain bust.
