Comments: With more than two hundred illustrations from photographs by Kermit Roosevelt and other members of the expedition and from drawings by Philip R. Goodwin. Large original olive-green cloth, with pictorial all-over design of elephants in a forest of yellow, gray, and brown on the upper cover, lettered in gold including appendices and index. A very good copy of the title, the lettering on the spine is excellent and the binding with some general mellowing, one hinge a bit cracked, internally very clean and still quite fresh. A fascinating and well written account from one of America?s greatest sportsmen, as well as the 26th President of the United States.
