Quarto, xi, [1], 161pp, [3]. Full cream cloth, title in gilt on front cover and spine. With illustrations of mythical creatures in gilt on front cover. Illustrated endpapers. Solid text block, cloth lightly worn, some sunning to spine. Endpapers toned. A near fine copy. Previous ownership inscription on a plate affixed to a rear endpaper, dated 1907. Complete with 13 full-page color plates mounted on cardstock, including a frontispiece of Alice. All illustrations protected with captioned tissue guards. Housed in a decorative near fine slipcase, light rubbing along edges.
