Previous ownership bookplate on front pastedown, from the library of Edward Francis Carry, President of Pullman Company. From a limited edition of 1000 copies, all signed by President Theodore Roosevelt beneath frontispiece portrait. This is number 277 of 1000. Complete with 55 full-page illustrations. The limited edition of Big Game Hunting was issued by the Knickerbocker Press in four separate bindings: full buckram, half morocco, full morocco and by special order in full levant. Big Game Hunting comprises writings titled “Hunting Trips of a Ranchman” and “The Wilderness Hunter,” with illustrations by artists such as Remington, Frost, Beard, Sanford and Gifford.
