Octavo, [x], 330pp. Full calf, gilt trim to covers. Five raised bands, title in gilt on morocco label affixed to spine. Gilt turn-ins, all edges gilt, silk endpapers. Finely bound by Holloway of Upper Berkley Street, London. Stated “A reprint for private circulation only” on title page. Solid text block, wear to corners and edges, foxing to endpapers, a near fine example. Previous ownership label to front endpaper.
Signed by George Musgrave opposite title page: “With the Author’s affectionate love / September 1870.”
