Twelvemo, [unpaginated]. Full brown morocco, title in gilt on spine, decorative border stamped on covers. Marbled endpapers, gilt turn-ins. All edges gilt. Top corner cut from front flyleaf and title page, not impacting text. Light rubbing to boards, some wear to spine, solid text block. Complete with fifteen engravings by A.V.S. Anthony, after illustrations by Winslow Homer, A.R. Waud and Thomas Moran. (BAL 12562) A near fine example.
