Signed and inscribed by thirteen cast members from an American production of this musical.
The cast members who signed this copy were part of a touring production of Fiddler on the Roof with shows in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and Maine in the summer of 1971. Signatures include George Axler, Leslie Miller, Fyvush Finkel, Stuart Howard, Coleman White, Iris Acker, Herb Wilson, Samuel Bruce, Fred Weiss, Avril Gentles, Richard Beneville and Mike Kellin as Tevye. These actors played a variety of roles in their careers, most notably Finkel as an original Broadway cast member of Fiddler on the Roof, and Kellin starring on screen and on stage, receiving a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Pipe Dream in 1956.Fiddler on the Roof is a Tony Award-winning musical set in imperial Russia in early 1905, telling the story of a Jewish family at the time of the First Russian Revolution.
