High Adventure is the first published work by Sir Edmund Hillary, two years after Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first men to successfully summit Mount Everest on May 29, 1953. The book was published in 1955 by E.P. Dutton in New York and Hodder & Stoughton in London.
