Large octavo, xx, [4], 1-204pp. Full teal green morocco, gilt embellishments to covers. Five raised bands to spine, title in gilt on spine with ornate gilt compartments. Gilt turn-ins with marbled endpapers. All edges gilt, blue silk bookmark sewn-in. Binder’s imprint on front endpaper: “Bayntun Binder. Bath, Eng.” Solid text block, wear to hinges, sunned spine. Vignette title at front of volume. Complete with twelve illustrations by Maurice Leloir. Housed in a matching blue cloth slipcase.
