Killing Floor is Lee Child’s first published novel, notable for initiating the Jack Reacher series. Reacher, a former U.S. Police Corps Major, takes on a number of odd jobs investigating suspicious and dangerous situations to protect the public. The character was twice portrayed by Tom Cruise in major motion pictures, and later by Alan Ritchson in an Amazon Prime series that debuted in 2022.
