Robert Oswald (1934-2017) was the older brother of Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of President John F. Kennedy. After the assassination on November 22, 1963, Robert publicly stated his belief that his brother acted alone in killing the president. He took custody of Lee’s body and arranged his funeral. Robert testified before the Warren Commission in 1964 and later spoke out occasionally about the case, maintaining his position on Lee’s sole responsibility.
