Book measures 2.5″ x 4″. Hardcover wrapped in genuine rabbit fur. Solid text block, faint transference opposite endpapers, thin crease to leaves from previous bend. A near fine example with almost all fur intact. Protective cardboard box measures 3.5″ x 5″. Light wear to corners, a bright and sturdy example.
Margaret Wise Brown (1910-1952) wrote numerous children’s books, including titles like Goodnight Moon, The Runaway Bunny, and The Color Kittens. Little Fur Family features illustrations by Garth Williams, a children’s literature artist best remembered for his work on Stuart Little and Charlotte’s Web.
