Red silk bookmark sewn-in, split along top edge and laid in. Bound by Sotheran on Sackville Street in London. Solid text block, sunned spine, foxing to frontispiece and title page. A near fine example. Vertical fore-edge painting by Whittenberg depicting an ornate town square with people walking or riding through on horseback.
