Stated “First Impression” on copyright page, followed by “Published April, 1928.” Top edge gilt, clean pages. Shelf wear and possible cleaning to side of front cover. Dust jacket in near fine condition, publishers original glassine jacket, price clipped, nick along bottom edge. Inscribed by the author on front title page, with inscription of musical notes from Stars and Stripes Forever, dated 1928. Inscription reads: “To S.S. Greer Esq. With a few memories from (…). John Philip Sousa. 1928.”
