Comments: Henry Ford cited the McGuffey Readers as one his childhood influences. He had them reprinted in the 1920s and sent to schools around the country. Ford was such an admirer of McGuffey that he had his log cabin moved to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. This important book is handsomely signed by Henry Ford. An attractive piece of history.
