In publishers first edition dust jacket, $2.95 on front flap, light wear along edges, closed tear to top edge of back panel, bright illustrations and vibrant colors. This novel was one of three works by Clement, known as the Astounding Series, which included Needle (1950), Iceworld (1953) and Mission of Gravity (1954). Three sequels to this novel were published, titled Star Light, Lecture Demonstration and a short story in 2000 titled Under.
Comments: Hal Clement was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 1998. This novel was nominated for a Hugo Award.
