    Octavo, [8], 184pp. Orange hardcover, title in gilt on black spine. Top edge dyed orange. Stated “First Published, April, 1929” on copyright page. Solid text block, toning to top and bottom edges, a near fine example. In the publisher’s dust jacket, $2.50 retail price on front flap, faint soiling, chipping to edges and corners. Laid in is a 1928 playbill for a limited engagement of The Beggar’s Opera at the Eighth Street Theatre in Chicago, part of the Opera’s Bicentennial Anniversary Tour of America.
