From a limited edition advance presentation set, signed by former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Limitation reads: “This copy of On My Own is one of those signed by Mrs. Roosevelt for advance presentation to friends of the author and the publisher. Eleanor Roosevelt.” Includes laid-in business cards from William C. Morris of Harper & Brothers.

On My Own by former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt follows her life after the death of her husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1945. It details her time as a delegate to the United Nations, chairperson of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, and a political activist for democratic causes throughout the United States. It was one of the last publications from Mrs. Roosevelt before her death in 1962.
