    Octavo, xii, 241pp. Blue cloth, title in gilt over blue ink on spine, black signature on front panel. Stated “first edition” on copyright page, with “H-H” date code. Solid text block, faint sunning along top edge of spine, previous ownership inscription on front endpaper. In the publisher’s near fine dust jacket, $4.00 on front flap, light foxing to rear panel, otherwise bright example. (Edens B24)

    On My Own, by former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt, follows her life after the death of her husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, in 1945. It details her time as a delegate to the United Nations, chairperson of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights and a political activist for Democratic causes throughout the United States. It was one of the last publications of Mrs. Roosevelt, before her death in 1962.
