Octavo, xv, [3], 19-314pp. Black and orange cloth, title in gilt on spine. Stated “first edition” on copyright page. Light sunning along top edge, transference to endpapers. Offsetting from newspaper article previously laid in at half-title. Frontispiece portrait and complete with 46 black and white photographs. In the publisher’s first state dust jacket, $5.00 on front flap, sunning to spine, light chipping along top edge, a very good example. Signed on the front free endpaper by the author, in English and Tibetan.
