Wallace H. White Jr. (August 6, 1877 – March 31, 1952) was an American politician and lawyer. A member of the Republican Party, he served in the United States Congress from 1917 to 1949, representing the state of Maine. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1931 and was the Senate Majority Leader from 1947 to 1949. Born in Lewiston, Maine, White was a prominent figure in American politics during the first half of the 20th century, participating in significant legislative activities and playing a key role in shaping U.S. domestic and foreign policies during his time in Congress.
