Octavo, 333pp. Yellow hardcover, title in gilt on navy blue spine. Stated “First Edition” on copyright page. In the publisher’s dust jacket, $24.95 retail price on front flap, a fine example.

Signed on the title page: “To Michael with best wishes / Emily St. John Mandel.” Includes an ALS and addressed envelope from Mandel, dated from 2009.

Emily St. John Mandel received the National Book Award and the Arthur C. Clark Award for Science Fiction Literature for this work. It was first published by Picador Publishing of London in 2014, preceding the first American edition by a few months. It was adapted into a successful miniseries on HBO Max in 2021.
