From a limited edition of 950 copies signed by the author, this being 948. (Siegel 143) Additional inscription by the author on the front pastedown endpaper as well as the presentation inscription on the front free endpaper: “To: Edmund Ware Smith, It has been a pleasure to publish your books, Ed, and I hope these slim volumes will be a source of pleasure to you. Sincerely, Eugene V. Connett.” An excellent association copy.
