The Ginger Man by J.P. Donleavy was first published in Paris in 1955. It was originally banned in the United States because of obscenity, but eventually found an audience. The Modern Library declared it one of the best 100 novels of the 20th Century. This copy was signed by J.P. Donleavy shortly before his death in 2017.
