The London Magazine for the year 1763, volume XXXII, with twelve monthly issues bound as one volume.

Thick octavo, 712pp, [16pp index]. In modern white cloth, title in gilt on spine. General wear and toning throughout. Previous ownership inscriptions. An incomplete copy, missing maps of North America and others, as called for in the binding instructions. This copy includes the following maps: Africa (fold-out), Cuba, Moor’s Castle near Havana, Siege of Havana, Map of the Philippines (in color, with tear), Port of Amazonia and the Amazon River (fold-out), Isle of Wight (fold-out), Edinburghshire (fold-out), Haddingtonshire (fold-out), and Linlithgowshire (fold-out). A unique collection of contemporary news, public discourse, poetry, letters and educational material.

The London Magazine, which was first published in 1732, is the second oldest literary periodical known to exist. This edition was edited by Edward Kimber and published for R. Baldwin.
