Peter H. Dailey (1930-2018) served as the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland from 1982 to 1984, appointed by President Ronald Reagan. Before his diplomatic role, Dailey served as principal media strategist for the 1972 Nixon campaign. Dailey was chairman and CEO of Dailey & Associates, a Los Angeles-based advertising agency.
