Signed by the author, Simon Wolf, on the front free endpaper: “Sincerely, Simon Wolf.” Additional ownership inscription from Evelyn Brenner on the opposite end paper. A very good copy.
Comments: Simon Wolf was a businessman, lawyer, diplomat and Jewish activist. He was an associate of President Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, William McKinley and Woodrow Wilson. This book covers his relationship with presidents from James Buchanan to Woodrow Wilson. Mr. Simon passed away in 1923.
