Spine professionally rebacked, expert repairs to hinges. Previous ownership inscription in pencil to front flyleaf. First edition with the Franklin Press imprint on copyright page. Second issue with “estate” corrected to “state” on page 124, line 1; “do not” corrected to “do” on page 263; and “reigned” corrected to “reined” on page 362.
