Comedian Billy Crystal, a lifelong democrat, became friendly with President Clinton early in Clinton’s administration. He was a frequent White House guest, often acting as emcee at political fundraisers. The two remained close after Clinton left the White House, with Crystal working to build support for the Clinton Foundation and Presidential Library. Both men gave eulogies for Muhammad Ali in 2016.
