Pierre Salinger served as White House Press Secretary for Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. After his service in the White House, he served as a Senator from California. He was the campaign manager for Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 and was nearby during his assassination. He passed away in France in 2004.
