Ansel Adams (1902-1984), lifelong photographer and conservationist, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Jimmy Carter in 1980.
The recipient of this copy, Helmut Krone (1925-1996) was a director in advertising at the Doyle Dane Bernbach agency for over 30 years. He’s best known for revolutionizing the industry with his minimalist and concept-driven approach, most notably seen in the iconic Volkswagen “Think Small” campaign.
